New Plant Availability List and Ottawa date

Finally, folks, I have a 2024 Plant Availability List. The move to Eganville set everything back, I am so sorry for the delay. I realize I was trying to do in two months, what it took me ten years to set up in Bristol, Quebec.

As well, because of the move, I allowed myself to get low in many species, so I would not have to move so much. Some of the spring stalwarts, such as Foam Flower, Common Bluets, and Blue-eyed Grass, which I usually have in abundance this time of year, are missing from the list. I will build up stock of these and others over the summer. Other species which wait for warm weather are also missing from this list (as they usually are for the first list of the year). Butterfly Milkweed and Swamp Rose Mallow and some other hot-weather dependent species, will show up on subsequent lists this summer.

Because I am so low in stock for many species, requests that came in last month have exhausted some availability. If I have said I have put aside for you, say, Large-flowered Beardtongue or American Groundnut, they are reserved, even though they do not appear on the list.

My first delivery of pre-paid orders to Ottawa will be on Thursday, June 6th, late afternoon. The deadline for orders is Tuesday, June 4th. 6 pm. NEW LOCATION for pick-up: Parking lot of Ron Kolbus Centre, Britannia Beach, 102 Greenview Road. This is just down the hill from the old condo parking lot location. Email your orders to ovnp@xplore.net (or the old email address still works: naturalgarden@xplornet.ca) and I will get back to you with payment details.

There will be more Ottawa deliveries this spring and you are welcome to come to the new location in Eganville. (Just let me know.) Be sure to mark June 22nd and 23rd on your calendar for the Natives & Clay Sale at Pine Ridge Studio in Carp
