Growing Conditions: Moist soil. Sun to part shade.

Wildlife Benefits: Food plant for caterpillars of Harris’ Checkerspot butterflies. Flowers provide nectar and pollen for many types of bees.

Ottawa Valley or eastern Ontario seed source: Yes. Seed locally collected on our farm in Bristol Township, Quebec.

Seed Germination: C(60) – cold, moist stratification for 60 days.
