Botanical Name: Callirhoe involucrata
Height: Sprawling; about 15 cm if unsupported.
Season of bloom: All summer.
Growing Conditions: Full sun. Well-drained soil, not too dry. Stems die back to a central crown each year; does not creep.
Wildlife benefits:
From Ottawa Valley or eastern Ontario sources: No.
Remarks: Blooms all summer but has proved to be short-lived for us. Very nice at the top of a retaining wall where it can cascade down.
