Height: Very, very low basal rosette; flower stalks to about 15 cm.
Season of bloom: Early spring.
Growing Conditions: Sun Dry soil. Grows well in shallow soil over rocks. Basal rosette is evergreen, often turning red in cold weather.
Wildlife benefits: Pollinated by tiny early pollinators.
