Season of bloom: Late summer

Growing Conditions: Sun. From moist calcareous soils on the shores of Lake Huron but adapts to ordinary garden conditions.

Wildlife benefits: All the goldenrods are important food for native bees and other wild pollinators.

From Ottawa Valley or eastern Ontario sources: No. From seed collected in Bruce Co. Ontario.

Remarks: Well behaved in gardens.
