Botanical Name: Triantha glutinosa formerly Tofieldia glutinosa
Height: about about 15 cm
Season of bloom: August. Pink buds, white blooms and orange-red seed pods.
Growing Conditions: Full sun. Found in the wild growing in fens and fennish prairies, i.e. low nutrient soils, usually calcareous, with seasonally high water table.

Remarks: Little known and seldom cultivated. Very slow to get going from seed but eventually clumps up. A charming little plant for specialized garden conditions.
