Botanical Name: Polemonium pulcherrimum
Height: 15 cm
Bloom time: Spring.
Growing Conditions: Full sun, well-drained but not too dry. A lovely plant for a rock garden or larger trough.
Origin: Canadian Rockies (Alberta). No claim at all to be native to the Ottawa Valley. Just a really lovely little North American plant for the rock garden.
Seeds:
Remarks: Not as intolerant of summer heat as some of the little gems from the Arctic, but do keep it watered during hot, dry spells. Might appreciate a north- or east-facing slope.
