Growing Conditions: Prefers moist soil and sun. A creeping grass which can form dense patches.

Remarks: Fast spreading, cool season grass. This is the grass used in basketmaking and smudging. The blades are usually harvested in summer. Fragrance is more intense when plant is dried.
