Yellow Whitlow-grass (Draba)

Botanical Name: Draba aizoides

Height: about 10 cm

Season of Bloom: very early spring

Growing Conditions: Nice in troughs and crevice gardens. We have it in a naturally occurring crack in the rock in our rock garden in full sun.

Wildlife benefits:

Seed source: Occurs in the Canadian Arctic. Our seed is from garden sources.

Remarks: This is the earliest plant to flower in our Rock Garden.
