Several species are depleted from the Mothers’ Day Sale but some warm weather species are now up and on the list, notably Wild Senna (featured image), Wild Bergamot, and Culver’s Root. The Milkweeds are still very small but up enough to know which ones are alive, so they too are on the list.
The Friends of the Farm Sale (aka Mothers Day Sale) was very hectic but it was good to see some old friends and familiar customers, some of whom I had not seen since before the pandemic. I have to apologize – I never meant to just have the Latin names available. I saw many customers valiantly looking up unfamiliar botanical names on their phones. I have laminated cards with pictures and common names and QR codes for each species, I just didn’t have time to get them on the tables. We were on site shortly after the set-up start time of 6:30 but still didn’t have enough time to set up. I spoke with some of the Sale’s organizers afterwards and suggested the sale might start at 8:30 instead of 8 am.

Just reminding you, we will be bringing orders to Eganville the evening of May 23rd and to Britannia area in Ottawa on May 30th. Please order from this Plant Availability List.
Don’t see the woodland species you want?
I have been very busy the last three days potting up some very choice woodland species, replenishing supplies of Wild Geranium and Wood Poppy that we sold out of at the Mothers’ Day Sale, and adding some others. They are not yet ready for this Availability List. They should be ready to go for Natives & Clay, the exciting event at Pine Ridge Studio in Carp on June 24 and 25. This is a chance to tour Lis Allison’s wonderful shady fern gardens and woods and browse her excellent functional pottery, as well as a chance to buy some Beaux Arbres plants.
I feel a little dumb asking this, but is it the underlined plants that are available, or all of the plants on the list?
Cheers,
Jane

Good question. All the plants on the list are available. The underlining indicates that the plant name is hot-linked to its species profile page on my website, i.e. you can click on it and get more info and usually a picture.
